Drum Your Story!
How to use DrumIt

DrumIt is a social news page intended for people who wish to read about Africa and tell others about interesting stories on Africa.

It is very easy to use:

  • If you have found something of interest on Africa that you think others might be interested in, find the DrumIt link on our page.
  • You will be directed to a page asking you to choose a category, the relevant country, enter the title of the article, a short summary and the link.
  • Once you article is up you can vote for it, or for others, add a comment to your own link or have a look at other links and comment on them.
  • We really want this to become a forum for people who are passionate about Africa.
  • If you are an African photographer, filmmaker, designer or writer, direct us to your blog or website – we would love to showcase your talent!

Keep these rules in mind though…

  • Submit things you think others will also be interested in.
  • Make sure that the link is to the original source.
  • Please do not submit content with spam, pornography, profanity or other nasty material.
  • You can submit your own content to DrumIt — just think about whether it's of general interest to others.
