Old Imperial Lion Zoo
- Ethiopia 
The Old Imperial Lion Zoo houses rare Abyssinian lions. The zoo was built in 1948 by Emperor Haile Selassie. The black-maned Abyssinian Lions were associated with kingship and power and are emblematic of the Solomonic Dynasty.
