Go Green is a broad philosophy and social movement centered on the concern for the conservation and restoration of the natural environment of our planet. More simply put, Go Green is the concept of reducing all forms of waste and pollution. Therefore, anything you can do to limit waste and decrease pollution would be considered going green. Over 60 exhibitors are set to demonstrated their green products, services and good practices. There will also be over 20 presentations on different environment related topics and the Addis International Film Festival will screen over 20 movies. Co-organizers include Pan African Youth Union (Office of the East Africa and Indian Ocean), the African Renewable Energy Alliance (AREA), Cordaid, the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce, the Heinrich Boell Foundation, the Horn of African Regional Environment Centre and Network(HoAREC/N), the World Future Council (WFC), ECOPIA, and the Population Health Environment Integration in Ethiopia(PHE).
